1 € more if you want to eat your ice cream on site. No indication of that. No service. 7 € for a Spaettie ice cream is already heavy.

Maybe again after Corona ... Yes, I know the gastronomy is struggling with the challenges of the pandemic these days. A somewhat strange approach has been found in Taormina Rheinbach. The service area, which is only a few square meters in size, has been converted to self-service. The result is a downright ludicrous sequence: put on your mask, put it on, place your order, take a seat outside, after calling - again with a mask - pick up the order and pay with a mask again at the counter sometime later. According to the notice, you should also disinfect your hands before entering the shop. Who comes up with something like that and, above all, why? Additional traffic is generated on the very small traffic area and it is impossible to keep the required distances. I will certainly not do this to myself anymore. The incredulous-looking lady from the next table probably neither. She left her seat, shaking her head, and we later saw her sitting in another ice cream parlor. It's a shame, ice cream and coffee are really good in Taormina. But that's not enough.

Freshly made ice cream every day. It's a shame then we had bad luck today. Ice cream wasn't that good. Tasty laff. Vanilla didn't taste like vanilla and strawberry tasted too little like strawberries. I think it's good that you work without sugar. You can taste that too. On the whole service friendly.

I love the ginseng drink. And the ice cream is a poem. I can warmly recommend a stop while shopping in Rheinbach in Taormina. And Taormina also stops in the residential area.

Staff and guests don't care about corona rules. I felt very insecure. Ice cream does not come up there! People without a mask are served, self-imposed regulations such as "coffee only in a mug" are not implemented. Guest data are not recorded! Corona? Was there something?

Food was great and we received a very friendly welcome. Very personable and highly recommended!

Ice and coffee good, service very friendly, partly musty. Atmosphere a bit cold and not very comfortable inside.

Actually, this ice cream parlor (branch main street) would have earned zero stars. Such an arrogant non-service I have never experienced. 4 people as customers are obviously too little or you prefer the ice cream itself. At least two out of four (!) Waitresses ate their ice cream with relish and look at one. And at the best time of Sunday at 16.30 clock. Good day etc. you save yourself here too. The next table was similar. So get up and go. The taste of the ice then no longer matters.

It used to be the best ice cream shop in the world. Since the Taormina there ice seems to be a secondary matter. I think the ice is more artificial in taste, the aroma is covered, so does not taste the normal fruit. The overall result for me rather fragrant
